Cosmetics

On December 22, 2009 was adopted the new Cosmetic Products Regulation 1223/2009/EU, with the aim to harmonize the previous dispositions and laws relating to this sector.

Most of the provisions of this new regulation will be applicable as from 11 July 2013, directly in all EU Member States.

Within 2013 (42 months after the adoption of the new Regulation), the GMP requirements will be mandatory and the adoption of the harmonized normative UNI EN ISO 22716:2008 will be the mean to demonstrate conformity to the law (article nr. 8).
